Edison is one of the biggest townships in the state and was built out section by section from the 1940s through the 70s. A lot of it is changing hands for the first time. We buy the estate houses as they are, from Clara Barton to North Edison, and close when the estate is ready. Written offer in 24 hours.

You'll meet Peter, not a call center. Peter has bought in Clara Barton, Menlo Park and North Edison and knows the township's certificate process. About Peter
Edison is huge and varied, but most of what we buy here is a postwar house at the end of its first ownership.
Postwar sections turning over. Clara Barton, Menlo Park, Stephenville, Nixon Park and the developments off Route 27 and Oak Tree Road were built in waves from the 40s through 70s. Original kitchens, oil tanks, aging roofs and full basements are the norm in the estates we buy.
North Edison is newer and bigger. Colonials from the 70s and 80s on larger lots, some now with first owners downsizing.
Rentals near Route 1 and the train. Some capes and splits have been rentals for years and need work. We buy tenant-occupied.
The township inspects before sale. Edison requires a certificate. We schedule it, pay for it and fix anything after closing.
Local notes from houses we’ve bought and walked; confirm anything specific to your property with the township and your attorney. More on selling in Middlesex County.
All of them, every condition. A few notes on what we tend to see in each.

Downsizing from the North Edison colonial after the kids left.
Oil tank, roof and windows all flagged.
A rental near Route 1 you're done maintaining.
An empty house paying taxes.
